Cookie Notice

Interim policy notice

This policy is interim and will be replaced by counsel-reviewed terms. Last updated: 2026-07-19.

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies — such as localStorage — for preferences and analytics. This notice explains what CatchMeTonight uses, why, and how you can control each category.

2. Categories we use

  • Strictly necessary. Required for security and core site function, including session continuity and fraud and abuse prevention. These cannot be disabled without breaking the site.
  • Functional. First-party storage that remembers your preferences — theme (light/dark), language, and your cookie-consent choice — so you do not have to re-select them on each visit.
  • Analytics. We use one analytics provider, PostHog, to understand feature usage and improve speed, reliability, and usability. Analytics is only activated after you accept it in the consent banner, where consent is required by applicable law.
  • Marketing. We do not use marketing or advertising cookies. No third-party ad networks or tracking pixels are deployed on CatchMeTonight. If that changes, this notice will be updated and fresh consent requested where required.

3. Manage your preferences

You can change your cookie choice at any time using the button below, which re-opens the consent banner. You can also configure your browser to refuse or delete cookies — note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.

4. Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when we add new cookies, change providers, or when applicable law changes. The revised version will be posted on this page.
